## Savannah Pickleball Festival Announces Weekend Celebration at Lake Mayer, August 29-30, 2026

### Two-day community event will feature tournaments, open play, lessons, family activities, music, and a silent auction benefiting The Living Vine Maternity Home

**SAVANNAH, Ga.** - The Savannah Pickleball Festival will bring players, families, spectators, vendors, sponsors, and community supporters together for a full weekend of pickleball and festival fun on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Lake Mayer Community Park.

The weekend event will include tournament play, open play, beginner-friendly lessons, music, family activities, a Skills-N-Thrills Challenge Circuit, a silent auction, and a best team outfit contest. All proceeds will support The Living Vine Maternity Home and its work with mothers and babies in the Savannah community.

"Pickleball is one of those rare activities that brings together every age and skill level," said Jerry Seltzer, Savannah Pickleball Festival contact. "We wanted to create a weekend that feels welcoming for serious players, brand-new players, families, kids, and spectators while also supporting a local mission that matters."

Tournament events will include 55+ divisions, mixed doubles, men's and women's divisions, and an adult and child tournament for children 14 and under paired with an adult. Beginner, intermediate, advanced, and open divisions will be available, and players without a doubles partner may register and be paired with another player in their division.

Festival activities beyond tournament play will include facepainting, pickleball decorating, pickleball toss, music, photo opportunities, a public-vote best team outfit contest, and a silent auction. The Skills-N-Thrills Challenge Circuit will run throughout the weekend, with prizes awarded to the top three scorers.
